About Howling Wind Farms

a relaxing and fulfilling destination and program for every horse's voice to be heard, while giving every rider the tools and vocabulary to communicate with their equine partners.

Owner/trainer Emily Enomoto believes in a holistic approach to assessing, maintaining and training a horse - be it physical, behavioral, or educational. She works with clients of all ages on groundwork, classical dressage, jumping, and trail work - both on and offsite.

In addition, she starts young horses (including OTTBs), restarts horses, and provides sports therapy rehabilitation. Emily especially likes working with challenging horses who are often overlooked or misunderstood.

Kera and Epona
“ I could not ask for a better trainer for us. She is understanding of Epona, her strengths and weaknesses, as well as my own. Emily is helping me take an over-reactive filly, and help her understand how to manage herself under stress ...”

Kera C.

Diana and Frappe
“Emily is a knowledgeable and well-rounded instructor. She is hands-on with both horse and rider, understanding and teaching how to prepare a horse for athletic demands and/or how to overcome physical limitations ... ”
